How do you solve mold problems with growing sponges and seeds?

First of all the system water level should not be too high. Over-soaking may lead to moldy planting sponges or seeds. Also the environment for seed germination should be ventilated and dry, too humid environment may lead to sponge or seed mold.

The size of the growing sponge looks much smaller, is it compatible with AeroGarden?

Our seed starter sponges are dry and will be smaller for better storage, just soak the sponge for five minutes before use. Our hydroponic sponges are compatible with AeroGarden and most other brands of hydroponic growing systems.
