You can add the Starter Kit that includes the reservoir, a timer, perlite, starter nutrient, 1020 starter tray, 1020 humidity dome, one sheet Oasis cubes, and one sampler seed packet for $72.00. This ships separately, and if purchased with this unit, it ships for free.Each tube has grow sites spaced on 6" centers and staggered between rows for excellent planting density. Each space in the tubes includes a 2" net pot. The entire unit push-fits together to allow for expansion or dis-assembly for cleaning or moving. Water is delivered via a submerged ECO396 pump that feeds a hose line up to the top of the unit. As you can see in the picture, the water is aerated as it is pumped into the top of the unit by the bend in the pipe. In the middle of the system is an overflow pipe that can be adjusted to customize the water level in the system. The overflow will ensure that the system can not overfill even if the pump fails to shut off. At the other end of the unit is a drain valve that adjusts the water flow as it exits the tubes to control how long the water remains in the tubes. There is a similar adjustment at the pump so you can fine tune the water delivery rate. Included is an air pump and stone to aerate the reservoir (reservoir not included). This system will allow you to grow without bending over. To create a comfortable working height, the leg set makes the table 36" high. The legs can be adjusted by cutting the tubes to make the table any lower height you might like. The leg set is extremely sturdy and can be disassembled for moving.
