These hydroponic grow buckets are hand made with food safe buckets that are recycled from working in the food service industry. This complete package comes with everything you need to get started growing plants hydroponically. I currently grow multiples types of peppers, cherry tomatoes, herbs, ginger, squash, and I have an avocado tree that is doing quite well. The buckets are made from recycled food safe buckets and I transform them into buckets that can produce food efficiently and with minimal effort. Just fill it up and put in on a windowsill that gets some sun.. and check it once every 7-10 days see if you need to add water to top it off.. that\'s it. 

You simply add water and nutrient solution to the bottom of the net cup that sits in the bucket, drop a plant inside making sure some of the roots are able to get through the bottom of the net cup so that they are in contact with the nutrient solution mix. I typically germinate seeds using a cup of water or with a paper towel, then transfer then into the net cup and put stones around it, or you can add a clone or cutting of your choosing. I use the General Hydroponics MaxiBloom/MaxiGro Series of dry nutrient because its easy to use. I will include about 3 months worth. You only need to add a very small amount to a 2 liter bottle, especially in the beginning stages of the plants life. You don\'t want to kill your plants by putting too much nutrients too early. This will get you through the first 3-6 weeks depending on the plant that you put inside of the net cup and its level of maturity/drinking habits. I generally only add nutrients to the mix every 4th time that I top off the plant with water for plants that grow fruit and about once every 3-4 weeks for the herb garden. These buckets are reusable so once you are finished growing one type of plant you can just rinse out the bucket, and rinse off the stones, and reuse everything for your next grow. 

Keep in mind I made these by hand. The buckets can come wrapped or in plain white. If you do not specify that you want a wrapped one you will get the plain white. No refunds or exchanges unless it arrives broken, and its plastic.. so it wont. I have about 30 currently made but will be making more of them in the future. I find that friends and family prefer the plain white because its easier to see the water level and it reflects the light.

Growing Tip: Start your plants off with fresh water only at first, wait until you plant grows its second set of leaves before adding ANY nutrients at all, and even though just start with about a quarter teaspoon of the nutrient solution mixed in a 2 liter bottle. Use that bottle of nutrient solution to top off the water in the bottom of the bucket so you are adding more nutrient solution over time as your plant grows and develops.
